Wrens Nest is terrible...

The setting for this Bed & Breakfast is very nice…that’s where the good part of this place ends. Upon arrival, you will be treated like you don’t exist except as a source of revenue. Pay close attention to their advertising…they claim to provide the ‘charm’ of a B&B, but there is no breakfast included with this B&B…’take it or leave it’ is their attitude. If you have to depart early for a family emergency, they will tell you that chances are good that they will rent your room, but don’t expect to see a dime of the money they already have…it ain’t gonna happen. While this is consistent with their cancellation policy, it is not consistent with good business practices and respectful treatment of guests. We ended up paying $456 for a one night stay at the Wrens Nest. The rooms are extremely overpriced for what you get. In the Southwestern suite, the bathroom consists of one toilet in a cubby hole facing the ‘kitchen’…without a door! Be prepared to do your business in front of your friends and family at this place…quite embarrassing to say the least. And the jacuzzi is in the living room – it also serves as the shower…without a shower curtain. Once again, be prepared to shower, shave your legs or whatever else you do in the bathroom right in front of the people watching TV…there is no privacy whatsoever. Add it all up and what you have is a place where the owners treat you like crap and the facilities are meager, all for the price of a five-star hotel. Do yourself a favor – don’t stay here – there are better places everywhere in the area – pass this one by and save your self some disappointment and money.

Unique Quality: No redeeming qualities...

Wren's Nest Village Inn

We payed ca $130 + for one night with continental breakfast.

Unique Quality: You have a choice of Deluxe Suites, Cottages & Studios
Romantic Jacuzzi Suites
Here is a list of romantic escapes =-)
* Harley Room
* White Mountain Hunting Lodge
* Tropical Suite
* Southwestern
* Ralph Lauren Room
* French Country
* Isle of Shoels
* Papa Hemingway
And our favorite : THE THOMAS KINKADE , here we entered into the world of Thomas Kincade while we stayed in this lovely English Cottage Suite. We slept in a beautiful four poster queen size brass bed, faux painted walls, Thomas Kincade Gallery, and relaxed in the two person Jaccuzi tub . There is a refrigerator, coffee maker and other little surprises, like a Teddy-bear on the bed. Non-stop violine music and nature sounds melted our thoughts into a dream-world. It was beautiful.
