Weirs Beach lies on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee . It's name is thought to mean ' smile of the Great Spirit ' . This has to be one of the prettiest lakes in the Granite State . In Weirs itself you will find a boardwalk , waterslide amusements , weekly fireworks displays , yachting , fishing , swimming ( in the summer months of course ) and other water sports in New Hampshire's inland version of a seaside resort . best memories are of that grand ole Lake Winnipesauke . A great place to visit all year round .
