Motel has 30 spacious units, which are air conditioned, have private full baths and color cable television. They also have 5 suites with full kitchens for longer visits. Open each year from May to October. Motel is located on beautiful Crescent Lake - 650 feet of shore frontage. Half of the rooms have lakeview, others face the well-groomed motel yard. Motel owns 16 acres of lush green lawn, which extends till the lake shore. They also have nice private sandy beach (beach towels provided). Mornings they serve hot tea/coffee. For a rich breakfast buffet you can go to the Morrisey's Front Porch, which is just couple minutes walking from the motel.
Swimming, sunbathing, boating, fishing. Own tennis court. Lots of outdoor space for every activity. I would recommend this place to anyone, despite the name! ;)
I stayed here when I came to interview for my job, and it was a great experience. It's a charming bed and breakfast with spacious bedrooms, great decorations, reading corners, an enclosed porch, and very nice owners! (Rumor is, though, that ownership has changed).
They have several "common rooms" for use by guests such as reading nooks, a living room with a tv and phone, and a beautiful porch with lots of information about things to do in the local area.
When I was there, the owners only served vegetarian meals, although they did have a range of tofu breakfast "meats" - sausage, etc that tasted great.
The B-n-B is on the hill heading out of town -- but the town is so small that it only takes 5 minutes to walk down into the heart of Wolfeboro. There are plenty of places to eat within a 10 minute stroll - everything from sandwich shops/cafes to full-scale restaurants on the water.
