OOPS, Senior moment. Seem Greyhound does go both ways. Sorry about that. At any rate, does anyone know of any trains round trip during the week? Thanks

Well..from directly from NYC during the week is tough without getting to NJ first. The Aces train is a fairly new weekend train that makes just 1 stop in NJ....but is still currently ony running during the weekend. I have taken the bus down there a few times and it's not that bad. But I can see how you would feel more comfortable on the train.

I don't think there are trains going straight to NYC except ACES on the weekends. The NJ Transit train goes from AC to Philadelphia 30th station and from there you could take the train to NYC. But this seems to be more hassle. The buses (either Greyhound or NJ Transit) would be the my best recommendation :)

Many people think that having a casino card, is simply for gambeling. I can assure you, it is not just for gambeling. Casino cards, are like discount cards. With them, you will get half off parking in the garages - which is a plus , at the taj , you get free parking ( but only if you have your card up front ) <-- that is where they get ya ... you pay before you park . So tell someone to go inside and get a card, wait outside and when they come back with one - THEN park in the garage - its free ! All the cards are free to get, it just takes about 10 minutes, and you got your ticket to everything ! Spend 5 bucks on a slot, and you will start getting coupons sent to your house, and you may even get a comp on a room !

Over the years, the casinos here have really changed the look of the casinos..they all have their own theme and parts of casinos are decorated specially to reflect a certain theme.Here at Bally's its the " Wild Wild West" theme and they have animated shows too ,every 15 minutes or so,right outside the wild wild west section.its nice for families and visitors.

I come from a large, extended family and guests were always made welcome. So if you come here, expect to at least be invited to eat a meal. I'm a good cook in many different cuisines and a meal shared with friends is a good meal indeed. Please enjoy the photo of my Russian roommates "Breakfast of Champions". We don't always do it that way but sometimes stuff happens!

The first time I visited Atlantic City, 15 years ago, there were no keno games available. Today, a couple of casinos provide keno lounges and most casinos have keno machines. Keno games are available in the following casinos:
Midtown:
Caesars,
Bally’s.
Uptown:
Trump Taj Mahal.
Marina:
Harrah’s.

Cycling along the Boardwalk

Cycling is allowed along the Boardwalk, but only between 6am and 10am. I believe that bicycles are intended to stay in the middle of the Boardwalk, between the yellow lines where the rolling chairs normally operate. Signs along the Boardwalk: (1) “Bike riders please be courteous. Please ride carefully, watch for pedestrians.” (2) “Pedestrians keep to the right. Please watch your children during bicycling hours.”
