Greyhound Bus Stop (Casinos)
by FlowerOfScotland
Hi Atlantic City dwellers,
I wonder if any of you kind people can help me with the relevant information I seek.
I will be staying in New York in January and plan to ride the Greyhound Bus to Atlantic City one morning for a day trip to the casinos. Can anyone tell me just exactly where the Greyhound Bus actually stops, a landmark would be helpful so I can then work out on the map where I will be. On the Greyhound Bus website there are two stops in Atlantic City, one of which is called AC Casinos Stop. This is the stop where I will be getting off, and back on later the same evening. Does anyone know the location of this stop?(it doesn't give any indication on the Greyhound website.)
This information will be very useful, and would be gratefully received.
Cheers.

Many many thanks Peurto Lover. Your help was as good as having 'a pair of aces in the hole'. Excellent links to just what I needed to know. Dr Voyager's page is brilliant. Cheers.

The Greyhound bus stops in the major casinos(Caesars, Taj, etc) along the boardwalk before ending up in the AC bus station beside "The Walk" outlet stores. These casinos have a bus stop where you disembark and this would be the same place you will go back to to wait for the Greyhound bus to go back to NYC. It may be a different place in each casinos (It depends on which casino you would decide to go to, but it is part of the casino itself.
Travel Tips for Atlantic City
Sandcastles....
by mafootje
Our should i call them Sand Sculptures...
These large sculptures a really worth taking a look. If you see them being build it might look easy but i don't think i would be able to make anything that looks just a bit like these... Seeing the building of these works of art, unbelievable how people are able to build these and keep them standing for a long period.

Atlantic City Visitor's Center
by Gypsystravels
On the Atlantic City Expressway there is a huge Visitor's Center where you can stop and grab some maps and other related information especially places of interest located nearby. You can also find your usual tourist items for sale like postcards, books, magnets, etc.
You can also find a Visitor's Center on the Boardwalk, next to Rainforest Cafe on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City.
Both locations provide the same information and if you have a particular question, ask the host handing out maps.
Casino Hopping!
by tpangelinan
If you are in this town you don't have much of a choice but to go in and check them out. These casinos line the boardwalk, all the hustle and bustle, the flashing lights, you want to find out what it's all about. GAMBLING, THAT'S WHAT!! These people are crazy for it, every one has these cards for all the casinos, all their gear and money and away they go. I like my money IN MY POCKET! I will only throw away so much and that's it.
Check out the Borgata
by tpangelinan
The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is not in town with most of the other casinos, This Hotel was built in 2003 with over 2,000 rooms, 5 fine dining restaurants, 7 Casual Dining, 5 bars and 3 spas. Lots of amenities and things to do. Check out the website below for more information and details. Remember alway book ahead in this town.
Brigantine, our forgotten neighbor.
by Lady7
Just follow the signes in the Marina District to Brigantine. Surfing, swimming, driving on the beach, checking out the wildlife or playing golf are some of the many things available to do here. It's a quiet little bedroom community and the best kept secret of the locals.
