Helpful Host/Convenient Location
By the time you read this, it will be our 9th season spending a week at this lovely house on Jackson Street. We go back year after year because of the comfortable and home-like suites. The beach is just down the street, while little shops and restaurants are less than a half block in the other direction. In the evenings it's relaxing just to sit in the rocking chairs on the front porch, and watch the parade of people go by. I often bring a book down to read there. We've become great friends with owner, Rene. She often joins us on the porch and we talk late into the evening. Rene is the one to ask for recommendations as to where to eat, shop, visit, or if you need any particular items. You must remember that this inn was once a residence and not a large hotel and that you are responsible for your own personal items, so don't expect handouts. Smoking is prohibited for a reason. Cape May had a huge fire in 1878, and they don't want to repeat it.
