Red Rover, Red Rover, coming over...500 Miles of "Rover" Roads
Nothing makes me happier than taking either Red or Nigel out for a romp in the Jersey Pines. It does wonders to clear the mind, enhance the senses, and pump up the adrenaline. There are plenty of roads, paths and trails through the forest, some are suited better for mountain bikes or cycles, some are wide enough for ATV, or 4-wheelers like us.
Do yourself a HUGE favor: stop at one of the parks offices for topography maps that show most of these unpaved roads. Not all (the smaller trails) are shown on these maps, but if you don't have a GPS, can still help get you out of the 114,793 acres without walking out!
