Newark Tip
by Chuq
I was there in 1989 for about 10 hours, and my most amusing incident happened 5 minutes ago. For the last 12 years, I thought Newark was in New York. I've only just found out its in New Jersey. Woohoo!
New Jersey Nets

The 2002 Eastern Conference Champions shocked the league with their astonishing rise to prominence in 2001-2002 but have continued at the top of the Eastern Conference since and look to play competitive basketball for years to come. They play in the Continental Airlines Arena in the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford ten minutes northeast of Newark at the moment, but are planning on building an arena to house both them and the Devils in downtown on Market Street and McCarter Highway.

Restaurant close to NJPAC. It offers all you can eat brazilian/portuguese barbecue Not only you get tired of the variety of meats the waiters will keep bringing if you wish, but before this part of the meal starts the restaurant offers the most extensive all you can eat buffet I have ever seen!! Amazing!

If you're more in the mood for something light and trendy, check out Newark's preemptive response to Starbucks (which just recently invaded), the Euphoria Cafe. Great for a sandwich and some gourmet coffee while also providing live entertainment at night in the form of poetry readings and light jazz, this is definitely the most Bohemian restaurant in the area.
