A Riverfront Hotel in Red Bank
The Molly Pitcher is situated along the Navesink River in Red Bank. My husband and I stayed here while waiting to move into our home and have eaten here on several occasions.
The swank lobby has overstuffed, comfortable furniture and sits outside the pub and restaurant. It's a convenient spot to collect oneself before entering the lounge or dining area.
The pub is a cozy and dimly lit space that has the feel of a library. Here one can sip a cocktail or have quiet conversation while waiting to enter the dining room. The restaurant offers an expansive view of the river and is a popular place for Sunday Brunch, Holiday Buffets or romantic dinners. Reservations are difficult to snag on holiday occasions and have to be made early.
My only complaint is that when we lodged here, a kitchen exhaust fan on the roof outside our room droned on late into the night. Other rooms were more conducive to sleep!
