The Holiday Inn at Kenney’s Place in Saddle Brook, New Jersey is your standard Holiday Inn that is comparable with Holiday Inn’s you will find in other locations. If you don’t want to stay in Manhattan somewhere it will be cheaper and the trade off is a drive about 40 to 60 minutes into Manhattan depending on traffic.
There is a buffet breakfast at the hotel and the high speed interest was free with your lap top or you could use a computer down in the lobby.
A cab from this location to Manhattan would be roughly $70 so you need to weigh that against looking for a hotel in the city averaging about $300 a night. Overall though the Saddle Brook place was fine, I slept good there in the nights and it seemed like right on schedule trains, big trains would go by in the morning as my wake up call.
Directions: Saddle Brook
This tower, in an apparently quiet area, seemed a very good place to sleep. It wasn’t.
The continuous noise of the adjacent highway, in association with jet-lag gave us two horrible nights.
I have nothing to complaint about the hotel and its staff, but, when you can’t sleep… And, (not the hotel’s fault) I couldn’t stop thinking that, in my trip brochure, I was supposed to be sleeping in New York…
Unique Quality: Large, comfortable, but noisy.
