I stayed at this campground for the first time in about 10 years. It is a nice campground, and the sites are a decent size, however privacy is hit or miss. It's extremely large, and very safe. In all of the years that we have stayed here, we've never had a security or safety issue. Quiet hours are between 11pm-7am, and if someone complains about noise, the staff will follow up on it.
If you are a tenter, I don't know if this is the place for you. This campground does not offer a tent price, only a camper price, which is $52/night in-season. All sites have electric, sewer and water. Because of these factors, there are not many tenters. In fact besides us, we saw one other tent. Sheesh. Most campgrounds offer a tent price, and it's a lot cheaper than $52/night.
There is a beautiful pool on the premises. It is roughly 100'x48', and it is very clean. There is a lifeguard on duty from 10am-7pm, outside of those hours the pool is closed. There is also a kiddie pool for the little ones, located under the shade of trees. There is a playground right outside the pool enclosure. It's a great pool, make sure you try it at least once.
A man made lake is located at the southern end of the campground. It also boasts paddle boat rentals. A lifeguard is also on duty during swimming hours, and it has a nice sandy beach along with a great, modern, well maintained playground for the kids, and a snack bar.
There are several laundry facilities on site, along with a camp store. Make sure you bring your own firewood if you can, 12lbs of firewood is $4.25.
I think that in spite of the cost for tenting, this place is worth it. The bath house and restroom facilities are very clean. I'm normally disgusted by public bathrooms, and these are great. Than there is the pool, which is also maintained very well. There is also a clubhouse that plays movies nightly, and also hosts things like talent shows and parades for the kids. There is an arcade, a camp store, an ice cream shop and deck, and a cafe. My daughter loved the tram car made to look like a train. You can hop on it at the Tram Car Station, or wait for it to pass every 15-20 minutes through the main trails of the campground. It was a lot of fun.
