Do the history bit. Start at...
Do the history bit. Start at Washington's Crossing, PA and follow Washington's path across the Delaware, down to the Old Barracks in Trenton, climb the Battle Monument, and eventually move on to Princeton. Chances are, the world today would be a very different place if Washington and his troops hadn't crossed the Delaware on Christmas night in 1776. Cadwalader Park is a beautiful park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. It has remained close to Olmsted's original design with curved lanes and paths, rolling terrain, and an extensive variety of trees and shrubs. In its center is an 1848 Italianate villa, now serving as a museum, and it is surrounded by lovely old neighborhoods shaded by stately trees.
