Nice Budget Hotel
This Super 8 was a pretty nice hotel for a decent price. It had a small refrigerator, a microwave and free Wi-Fi. Nice restaurant next door. Sheriff's Department on the other side. Super Start Breakfast. The personnel behind the desk were friendly and professional, especially Bridget. The hotel is under new management, and they have bought new stuff for the rooms and done some upgrading and renovating with more to come.

The good: It's close to everything. Of course, Alamogordo isn't huge so this shouldn't be a problem anywhere.
The bad: The rooms were okay, but nothing to write home about and the lobby area is small and dirty. Plus, it was uncomfortably hot and the air conditioner was incredibly loud.
If you're just looking for a place to stay for one night this will do. If you'll be spending more than one day or think you'll be in the hotel room for more than just sleeping, I'd go somewhere else.
