Los Poblanos Inn

Really enjoyed my visit here - travelling with my wife, and it was great to find this peaceful, beautiful and historic Inn. We'll be back!

Unique Quality: Gardens, walking trails, peacocks, organic food, great views

My wife and I stayed here for a night, and were completely enchanted by the historic glimpse of the old southwest we were afforded. The proprietors (The Rembe's) were very congenial; the rooms and inn are extremely well appointed; the grounds are very large and conducive to strolling. Tours of the historic inn and the adjoining main house and facilities are recommended. It's the kind of B&B which is interesting enough to simply spend the day there and not go elsewhere.

What to look for: peacocks, lavender, chickens, fields of lettuce, mature stands of
cottonwood trees, and lots of antiques.

I'd move onto this property in a heartbeat, if I could. Very lovely property adjacent to the Rio
Grande on the outskirts of Albuquerque.

Unique Quality: Nice courtyard with fountain; working kiva to knock off the night air, etc.

Lovely breakfast; free tours; gift shop to stock up on lavender products from the farm on the
grounds.

Directions: just off S. Rio Grande Rd, on the West/NW side of town.
