Minimal breakfast
We were in town visiting family, one car, many people. The college kids were on a strict budget, so we all stayed at this motel to simplify logistics with only one car.
The facility is more like a motel, as all the rooms are in a "U" shape around the outdoor pool, and the doors open out to the pool area. There are no interior hallways.
My room had a king size bed, and since we had a deluxe room, we had a newer flat screen TV, a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a desk and chair. While I appreciated that the desk was large and there was a lot of room to work in, the bed was rather close to the one wall to accommodate the desk. Getting out of that side of the bed was tricky, as most of the available space was occupied by the heating/cooling unit. Our room also had a heavy perfumed cleaner stench each day. We'd get back and I'd have to open the windows for a few minutes to air the room out. Other members of the group did not have this problem - their rooms smelled fine.
The provided toiletries were minimal - a bar of soap, and a single squeeze packet of conditioning shampoo. The number of provided towels would have been sufficient for one person, but were not enough for two, when one wanted a towel to wrap her hair in while using another to dry with. Two washcloths, two hand towels, two larger towels, all thin.
The internet worked fine. The outdoor pool was closed. The free breakfast was the saddest I have ever seen. The eating area had two tables, each with two chairs. The options were two kinds of juice, two kinds of cold cereal, coffee and one pitcher of milk. If you were hoping to feed the group before heading out, this was not the place to go. If you aren't a breakfast person, then you won't mind. On Sunday morning, one member of the group went in about an hour earlier than the rest, and reported bananas and yogurt made a brief appearance.
Over all, it was a clean room, easy to find off the interstate, and it was a straight shot into down town. However, if we go again, we will look at staying at one of the other hotels in the area. For the same price, we could have had a hotel with an indoor pool or a decent breakfast.
