Suite Experience

My family and I stayed at the Tuscany Hotel and Casino (January 23-25).
We checked in after 7pm and had our room within 10 minutes. The hotel rooms are located away from the casino. We stayed in building "B" which was located right in front of Flamingo Avenue. We intended on making the trip an adult only thing, but the kids (ages 5 and 6) came along anyway. The room was CLEAN, LARGE, and COMFORTABLE. It totally felt like a suite. The bathroom had a tub and a shower. The room had a "sitting area" with a couch and a chair. We also had a "dining area" with a round table and 4 chairs. There even was a mini-frige, microwave, and stove. So, if you're planning a trip with kids this is the PERFECT place. We plan on staying here again whether the kids come along or not. You can walk to Bally's (it's not a far walk) and take the monorail to other casinos. Tuscany's casino isn't the biggest, but plenty of people looked like they were having fun. As for the serivce, many big resorts don't have to rely on being polite in order to get people to come back. I never encountered 1 rude person during our stay.
I felt as if we were treated like they wanted us to come back on our next visit to Las Vegas. We've stayed at Monte Carlo, Luxor, Aladdin, and New York-New York. Tuscany is a great deal for a great room. E-mail me if you've got any questions.
A great place to stay

We were very impressed with the Tuscany after staying at many of the on-strip and off-strip properties in Las Vegas. The rooms are large, clean, and well equiped. There is a very nice pool and hot tub. The exercise room is spacious and well equiped with modern machines. There is also a lap pool and hot tub seperate from the main pool. The casino is nice and well ventillated. It has a lot of video poker machines with good pay scales ( 10-7 double bonus, full pay dueces.) There is also a good selection of the "penny machines" which my wife loves to play. The bar tenders are friendly and efficient. Service by the cocktail waitresses seemed quite slow, but they were all friendly and quite personable. I was a little disappointed in the casual dress of the employees. It was difficult to tell who was an employee and who was a customer. However the bikini clad blackjack dealers at the Monday Night Football Party was a nice touch. We were very comfortable, and would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at Tuschany Nov.30-Dec.2,2003. We had gone by this hotel/resort many times but had nev er stayed. The rooms were large and very nice. The location is close tp strip and several small casinos including its own which is excellent. We went back several times after we left. The staff is excellent, helpful, curtious, and friendly. The Marilyn Cafe is wonderful. Good prices and good food. This is one of Vegas's best kept secrets. We will for a return stay in the near future.

they say everything you get in america is big and the room we got in the tuscany was really big. we stayed there recently on a recent trip around the west coast of the usa and were truly impressed by the tuscany. when we go back we will certainly consider staying ther again as the suites were huge and had everything you would want. food in the restaurant was good value and the staff were very friendly and helpful.as the govenor would say i'll be back.
Tuscany? Never again!

Stayed here last year (2003) and loved the size of the room we had. It was HUGE and so spacious. Everything was new, the bathroom was humongous but riddled with touch up paint so you could tell the place had been hastily built and booked. When we left my girlfriend realized she had left her keys and some clothes in the room so we called from the airport to see if anything had been turned in and after spending three hours battling with security the only response we recieved was: "Procedure is for housekeeping to turn in anything left in the rooms, nothing was turned in therefore you left nothing." Thanks guys, we understand that they are supposed to turn stuff in, the fact remains we had to get new car keys, house keys, and keys for work because of the housekeeping staff. My advice, check your room twice before you leave and make sure ANYTHING valuable is in a safe!! Overall you couldn't pay me to stay there again. This year we're going to the Imperial Palace.
Great for conventions

I come to Vegas every year and stay about two weeks setting up and working at a convention. Tuscany is my favorite for doing a trade show.
First of all, the rates are excellent. Secondly, it's quiet and away from the strip and you don't have to walk a mile through the casino to get to your room. Third, the rooms are huge and comfortable, and there's plenty of room to spread out and do work. You will want a car when you stay here because, like all the hotels off the strip, cabs do not come by often (and cabs in Vegas are expensive! You'll save money in the long run renting a car). The hotel is about a year old, and as long as they keep the rooms in top shape, I'll stay here. When you're in town for two weeks, the casinos get old really fast. Tuscany is different, and much nicer.
