This hotel had a few extras, like a small refrigerator, microwave, and a nice TV with cable. In addition, the breakfast was not just the usual continental breakfast but included some hot food. Nice mural in my room. This is pretty nice if you are just staying the night. For a longer stay you may want to stay in one of the resorts, especially if you came here to get married or for a romantic getaway. $54 as of May 2012.

One of the cabins
This is the view of our mountain taken from the valley west of Ruidoso. Ski in the winter or see a horserace or concert in the summer. Visit midtown and stroll through looking at the quaint little gift shops. Have a cup of coffee, chunk of fudge or slice of pizza while there. Enjoy the trails in the national forest, I do! When I'm away I miss the small town feel and quiet that other places have lost.
Aggghhhh! I've never skiied before! If you look closely at the picture, you will notice that my skis are crossed. I fell less than half a second after this picture was taken. I slid chin first right up to where my mom was standing (she took the picture).
My sister was laughing at me because I just fell in front of her.

We are trying to catch snowflakes with our tongues! Notice the cool mittens and hats we're wearing. I bought those in Sweden.
That's my snowman on the right. Ty made the other one. His is kind of lumpy.
