The worst experience
These cabins were filthy, poorly insulated, tiny, over priced and over rated. We paid over three-hundred dollars for a two night stay in a two-bedroom cabin that was less than 300sq ft. Our cell phones did not have signal in the forest and since there was never anyone present at the front office (until checkout) we never got any satisfaction. When checkout finally came we stated our complaints and instead of appologies we got very rude and insultive responses. The lady at the frontt desk insulted my mother, made my sister cry and doubted my families intellegence. She made racial remarks, refused to appologize, litterally yelled in our face and threatened to call the police when we said she was a scam artist. I have visited Ruidoso at least once a year for over 20yrs and have never had a worse experience. The Whispering Pine Cabins are a disgrace to the wonderful community of Ruidoso, NM.
