El Paradero was recommended to us by a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room was comfortable and attractive and the location was quiet. The meals were very good and the staff was pleasant and eager to help with questions. We plan to go back!
El Paradero is a treat

El Paradero's Web site boasts about the inn's world-class breakfast, which you will find out is no exaggeration! If you're lucky, the menu will be formally and enticingly announced to you each morning by Todd, who is, simply put, one in a million. Rooms at El Paradero are classy, comfortable, and quiet. Take one with a fireplace for the full effect of that quintessential Santa Fe scent of pinon. Don't miss the delectable afternoon tea! Finally, take advantage of El Paradero's charm while traveling on vacation, not business: wireless access is limited and there's no personal guest voice mail system.

Everything they promised and more. We loved our fireplace. Breakfast was wonderful. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. They made some great dinner recommendations for us. We enjoyed sharing the public spaces and breakfast table with the many intersting guests.

This is a charming adobe with lovely rooms and a great staff. We had a wonderful time here and truly felt like we were coming home when we would come back at the end of the day. The breakfasts were great and the staff was extremely friendly. We would most certainly come back to this B&B the next time that we are in Santa Fe. N.E. Marina, CA

We only stay at El Paradero when we go to Santa Fe, we try to go a couple times a year. The staff always make us feel so at home and are very accommodating. We also enjoy the breakfasts which are lite, healthy and delicious.
Can we just move in?

Just returned from a two-night stay at El Paradero, and we're ready to become permanent residents! The staff is friendly, the food is great, our room was comfortable and charming, and the location was perfect.
We would have liked a coffee pot in the room, or access to hot tea throughout the day (not just at tea time), as we've had at some other B&Bs. But that's a nit in what was otherwise an excellent experience.
Great value and location

My wife and I spent our 30th anniversary at this charming B&B. We arrived to a bottle of Champagne. The gentleman who checked us in gave us a map and a lot of tips on things to do. Very helpful. Definately an easy walk to the plaza where many great restaurants await. We took a cooking class at the Santa Fe Cooking School. A must to anyone who is in Santa Fe for a few days. We stayed in room 6, which is good size and has a fireplace. The breakfasts they served were great, and the tea was a good way to wind down before you go out again to dinner. Too many great places to eat to mention, however, the Compound was our choice for our anniversary, and was incredible. Will definately visit El Paradero again.
An amazing B&B in an amazing city!

My girlfriend and I much prefer B&Bs to large hotels. However, sometimes we find that B&Bs either lack service or are way too pricey for what they offer....or both. We stayed at El Paradero B&B in Santa Fe last November and absolutely loved it. The architecture and decor are classic southwest with many local artistic touches in both the common area and the rooms. Our room had a huge bed and a fireplace. Very cozy. The food provided was very delicious and was just the right amount. when we visit a city, we dont want to eat every meal in the hotel or B&B, but a nice tasty breakfast is the right way to get started.
Also the owners are super friendly and knowledgable about the Santa Fe area. While some might think that not living on the premises would be a problem, I actually didn't think it was a negative at all. Jennifer and Matt were there whenever we seemed to need them, but they were not intrusive and annoyingly attentive like you find in many B&Bs. They were nice and helpful, but not definitely not intrusive. They knew exactly when to leave us alone.
We got to stay in two of the rooms and both were very comfortable and cozy. I would highly recommend this B&B if you are looking for an affordable, well appointed B&B in Santa Fe. It is also in a very convenient location for all the Santa Fe has to offer.

This is a very charming place a few blocks from the plaza and it feels like you are a local when you stay here. The staff are very friendly and were always ready to offer suggestions. Food was great too!

Been staying here for years!

This has been my first choice in Santa Fe for many years. This B&B was sold to new owners a few years back, and they are keeping a wonderful tradition of hospitality, personalized service and southwest charm alive, even making small improvements of their own. The rooms are very clean, have that Santa Fe look and are all just a little different from each other. Breakfasts are generous and carefully prepared. You can leave your car in their parking lot and easily walk the 4 or so blocks to the Plaza. You will feel nurtured - and insulated from the hoards of tourists that can make larger places feel a bit overrun - here. Couldn't recommend "my secret spot" more highly, if you enjoy B&B's!

B&Bs in Santa Fe: El Paradero
by tiganeasca
Hello all!
We will be visiting (or, in my case, re-visiting) Santa Fe for five days in mid-January. I can't wait to return and we are looking for a cozy B&B to settle into. After a lot of research, we are tentatively settled on El Paradero. Anyone have any experience of this place that they would care to share?
Thanks.

I stayed there many years ago and it was quite nice. Sorry I don't have a more recent experience to share. If you have any other questions on S Fe, I'll try to help.
