A very classy bed and breakfast inn
We have stayed more than once. We can feel the welcome when we walk in the front door of the lobby, and can smell the aroma of good New Mex cuisine still lingering from the kitchen.
The last visit, we were treated to a buffet 'supper" the evening of our arrival, which was repeated the second day. Breakfast the next morning was beyond excellent.
Coming and going through the private entrance of our casita, a lovely room with a king bed and an en suite bathroom, was as confidential as we wanted it to be. We have stayed in several B&Bs in Taos over the years. This one is at the top.
(Caveat: All things change. With economic challenges, any accommodation must adjust. Whether staying at Casa de las Chimeneas or anywhere, ask lots of questions before booking.)
Unique Quality: There is a feeling here that is difficult to describe. You just feel good, and the owner makes you feel important.

Pampering at its Best
We really loved our stay at the Chimeneas B&B in Nov 2000. It is a lovely old adobe inn, restored and nicely kept up - a bit secluded off the main drag in Taos, and full of ambience.
I highly recommend it to anyone wanting special treatment.

Unique Quality: They offer several very nice suites with access to private and/or shared hot tubs, sauna and community spaces. They emphasize special attention and the breakfasts are superb - very deluxe, delicious and gourmet dishes, offered in a beautiful setting.
Pricey but worth splurging!
