We stayed at the Sagebrush Inn at Rancho de Taos - a lovely inn full of really good arts and crafts.

I paid $95 a night for my room - two twin beds with a balcony. They also have rooms with fireplaces, but those are quite a bit more.

Unique Quality: Adobe hotel with nice rooms. It really gives one the feeling that they're part of the town.

Two Steppin' Fun!

The lounge is located in the old part of the Sagebrush Inn. It apparently has been around since the 1920s. When I came across the street from my hotel to the lounge I was afraid that I had been given bad information. From the highway, it didnt look like it was open. I walked around back and found a courtyard and the entrance to the lounge and people started drifting in. The band was very good considering it was only two guys! No apparent dress code but western wear seemed to be the preferred!
