I have stayed at this Hampton Inn a few occassions, most recently in July of 2006. This was the last stop on our 4 state tour. This Hampton Inn offers the usual great customer service of other Hampton Inns. It also has the same great comfortable rooms, linens, towels etc. My one complaint would be that the air conditioners are too loud. There is no pool here so my son doesn't like staying here. There are two onsite restaurants, dp, An American Brasserie
and Yono's, but I've never tried them. This is the newer of the two Hampton Inns in the Albany area. Parking is an additional $10.

This is a new downtown hotel just opened in Summer 2005. Located on the edge of the CBD it is part of the attempt to rebuild the area.
I like the hotel. Its a 10 floor place that is well appointed. The rooms are of a fair size and some of the bathrooms are the highlights of some rooms. At least the regular rooms. If you can get upgraded to a suite they are single room but double size. The bad part of this is only one TV in the middle on a swival.
Unique Quality: They nickle and dime you with a $10 parking charge. There is also no pool at this location.
