Three Blackbirds that won't fly.....

If you are leaving Alexandria Bay and are on Interstate 81 going south, then keep your eyes peeled on the west side of the road. About 100 yards back from the pavement, out in a farmer's field there are three blackbirds.

you say "blackbirds in a field? what is so unusual about that?"
and I reply "they are thirty-foot carved statues!"

I tried to get a good shot of them as we wizzed by but my pics came out blurry.
So I located a couple of other people who saw them too and got some great shots.

Location: west side of I-81, south of Alexandria Bay and north of Watertown, just after you go past an overpass.

"Ball's Hideaway Bay"

Just stayed at these cottages - what a mistake! Dirty, filthy, horrible beds!! It's a shame, too, because it's in a perfect spot on the river - beautiful location. But I can't imagine anyone wanting to spend time in these cottages after their first visit due to the dirt, filth, grime, bathroom disgusting. Hosts need to clean up and upgrade if they want to stay in business.
