Bethpage Home of The L.E.M
Many years ago (1939) Bethpage was an area of Scrub Land.
Stunted Pine trees, no street, not many people but lovely, peaceful and quiet.
Today (2000) it is none of the above.
There are homes, people, and cars on almost every square inch.
Bethpage is on Long Island, about 30 miles East of Manhattan, aka ..." New York New York".
Long Islandis (90 mile, has over 2, 000, 000 souls living on it and is "Still Growing!"
The L.E.M. is the Module that landed on the Moon in July 1969 was built here in Bethpage.
