Mansion on Asbury Ct: Good B&B

The Mansion on Asbury Court Bed & Breakfast is a Victorian mansion built by Civil War General Edward F. Jones in 1881. Lovingly restored, this B & B offers spacious rooms, two private baths, one shared bath, a whirlpool clawfoot tub, an outdoor jacuzzi, gardens, a patio and a delicious full breakfast.

Kings Inn: Great place for families visiting Binghamton

My husband and I stayed at the Kings Inn during Binghamton University's parents weekend. This was our second time coming up for parents weekend; previously we had stayed at a cookie-cutter type place on the Vestal Parkway, but decided to stay at the Kings Inn based on a friend's recomendation. We were very pleased with our stay and intend to return here in our upcoming trips to the Binghamton area. We liked the little touches like freshly baked cookies in the lobby and the elegant decor (dark cherry-colored furniture and tasteful artwork). All in all, a great place, and the price was surprisingly reasonable too. If you're a parent visiting the Binghamton area and want to stay at a place which offers great value and comfort for your money, you should consider this place.

The place was family run and we were served up a great breakfast (complimentary!)in the morning. There was a wide selection of fruit, oatmeal, yogurt and juices as well as the typical cereals, bagels and pastries. There was a business center with free high speed internet access so we were able to check our email. The architecture and design of this inn was exceptional. The breakfast room was bright and sunny with skylights above the high slanted ceiling. The indoor pool and sauna were great, these had bright skylights as well, and we enjoyed lounging by the pool. There was also a large deck/bbq area in the back and I noticed another group enjoying a cookout there.
