It is located on the roof of the Esperanza Mansion. (3456 State Route 54A).
This Greek architectured mansion is from the early 1800's. It is now a very nice bed-and-breakfast place but you can wander around looking at the architectural features for free.
The colonades are reminiscent of southern plantation but the entrance way is pure Greek Revival. There are a dozen bedrooms in the building but we could only sneak a peak at one that was unoccupied and the door was open. Very very upscale with canopied beds and contoured divans and AnteBellum furniture. The view from the balcony overlooking the lake is grand.
So take a few minutes and get out your camera and shoot a few shots.

If you are into real archaeology and are in the Keuka Lake region maybe you could make the find of the century and relocate the "Stoneworks of Bluff Point".
Somewhere in the hills on the west side of Keuka Lake, in the town of Bluff Point, and just off route 54A, there is supposedly a prehistoric site/village that was first "discovered" in the late 1800s and lost and then "redicovered" in the 1980s and lost again.
Take a look at the information in the article about this in the website below and if it suits your fancy, then take a stab at locating it. It could make you famous!
