Rooms are small, much smaller than suburban US standard and rather small for US urban hotels, but acceptable if you don't mind tight.
Location is in a rather run-down ex-industrial area, but between two up and coming residential areas. You wouldn't want to walk to or from this place at night, but there is on site parking. If you drive or cab to and from, this is not a problem. I'm not sure how far it is to a subway.
There is one elevator for an 8 story hotel and it is slow. This is a hassle, but minimally acceptable.
You can be assigned rooms in the basement without your being aware of it when you book. They have small high windows only and are unpleasant. You should call this hotel when you book and specify that you don't want one of these.
