on December 25, 2006It was Christmas Eve and we didn't just want to stay in our room on this special night so we asked the attendant at the check-in desk for assistance. She graciously made a few phone calls for us and even arranged for the hotel shuttle to take us to the Marriott Hotel, 1 mile away and pick-up for our return. The shuttle driver was very nice. We just wanted a place to go to for a few drinks and we were not disappointed. Great bar for a few drinks. My nephew was allowed to use the internet in the business centre as he was under age to be allowed to sit with us in the bar.
Back at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, the room was clean, the bathroom was clean. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed a pay tv movie as well. The air conditionning works really well in the room. There is a desk with a proper chair for doing all your paperwork. The internet access is free from your room. They also have a computer with free internet access available in the hotel lobby.
The hallways are large for easy access with all your luggage. The rooms are quiet. I really enjoyed the outward curved showercurtain rod as it made the shower feel a bit less enclosed.
As this was a holiday, a continental breakfast was available for our convenience. It was perfect for a quick bite to eat before our return home. On a regular day, they would have also had a hot breakfast available for a reasonnable price.
It is just minutes away from the Buffalo International Airport. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. Perfect for the businessman on the go.
