My company sent me here on business and your hotel provided excellent accommodations and amenities for both work and a little down time. The high-speed internet was fast and dependable, and the heated pool was the perfect antidote to a long day of business meetings. Thanks for the clean, non-smoking room and great service. http://www.bwcooperstown.com

Even though it is only a ten hour drive from Detroit, we spent the first night on the road in Rochester which took us twenty miles out of our way- thank you mapquest. The next night we stayed south of Cooperstown in a developing area called The Commons. The Best Western has two separate housing units as the one we stayed in- called The Lodge- was formerly a Microtel. (The sign sits behind the Best Western Building.) A strip mall next door houses a grocery store, a liquor store, and a pretty decent strakhouse.
Surprised my honey with a trip to Cooperstown. This hotel seemed like the only chain around (which one might look for when in an unfamiliar area).
Stay here! You won't be dissappointed! Unless you forget your swimsuit like me!
I paid $100 more than a regular room to get the Pete Rose suite. It wasn't much more than a separate bedroom and few pieces of Pete Rose memoralbilia. Not really worth the extra cost; but I didn't mind because I wanted to spoil my boyfriend.
The front desk staff was superb. The pool looked spotless and I was mad at myself for forgetting to bring a suit.
Our maid was a young man who was fabulous! Each night we came back to a spotless room! I tipped him well and wrote him a note apologizing for a chocolate cookie smudge on the sheets. He wrote back! So sweet and nice. We wrote back and forth during our stay and I left him cookies which he said thank you for.
Definitely a wonderful place!
