It's not THE Worst but not great
When you first walk in there's a faint smell of cigarettes due to the smoking section being on the first floor. I stayed in a smoking room and wasn't pleased with all of the cigarette burns there were in the sheets and drapes. In fact the drapes had a few slits in them that I had to use a clothes pin to close. The bed is a little on the hard side and I would recommend bringing your own pillow. What they consider a pillow is sad. The towels are definitely rough and in the middle of the night I had a few drunkards bang on the window. Almost all of the hotels were located in that same circle so it was interesting to see the huge price differences.
I do have to say that the staff is very sweet and polite. They were outgoing and willing to help and often chatty. It's a staff best served at higher end hotels but I was grateful to at the very least have that service.
I didn't expect much from the place given the price in the end it's literally what I paid for.....a place to lay my head and hope lice didn't jump in it.
