Fair Haven on Lake Ontario

"No, I Don't Think I'm the Karate Kid"

I was actually trying to keep the water from hitting my "bits and pieces", but jumping the wave.

Though it was early June, the water was still a brisk 50 degrees or so.

In the interest of keeping my voice at its normal octave level, I was jumping the waves.

Sadly for me, my shorts had a bit of a wicking effect, and the cold lake water did eventually make contact with... well, you get it.

"A Photo From The Bluffs"

As you can see, there is a fence to prevent you from falling over the 100 foot high cliffs.

"Photo of the Pier at Fair Haven"

This is taken from the bluffs overlooking the lake.

1875 map of Fair Haven

The part of the region where the State Park and The Pond are presently, had not been filled-in and reclamated for use in 1875. It was still water and marsh contiguous with Lake Ontario at that time.
