Right on the northern tip of Seneca Lake, accessed by route 5/20.
The park's best features are its beach, its playgrounds, its marina and its water-spray area.
The less favorite attributes of the park are its picnicking facilities.
The beach is sandy and the water is shallow enough for wading. The playgrounds have slides and swings and jungle gyms and are good for pre-teens. The spray park area is a favorite for young teens and a great way to cool off. The marina service small boats (canoes and kayaks) and also has electric slips for larger motorboats. Using the clear blue water of this part of Seneca Lake for water skiing and fishing is a popular pastime.
There are a few walking trails that are also used by trail-skiers in the winter.
Near the parking area are the picnic tables and grills and pavilion and restrooms.
There are some excellent lake views from the picnic area but it is all down hill slopes.
