This Bed and Breakfast looks like it was moved here from the Adirondacks.
The decor is rustic throughout with cut-in ceilings in the bedrooms and beams and shakes showing in many areas.
The rooms are comfortable but not overlarge and tend to be a bit dark because there is generally only one normal-sized window per room. Every room is well equiped with amenities: bath, shower, restroom, central air, queen size bed, cable TV, clock-radio.
There is a jacuzzi, outdoors off the main room, for all guests to enjoy.
The gathering room is pleasant with fireplace and comfortable overstuffed furniture; good place to meet the other tenants or just enjoy a tea or coffee.
Room rates include a full breakfast in the joint kitchen-dining room. You can even order a picnic lunch (at extra cost) to take out on your walks in the area.
The rates are a bit high ($120 per night double occupancy) but the ambience and peace and quiet are well worth it.
