Loews Regency Hotel: Perfect location n the heart of New York City

by starstudio

A Midtown Luxury Hotel. Just right outside your door… fabulous shopping, the City’s finest eateries, museums, in a walking distance the bright lights of Broadway, and of course, nearby the Central Park.

Great hotel, that i was luky to stay there, as i was guest for bussines. As a single traveller, i can't aford it for sure !

A notice anyway: there is only free wi-fi in to the loby. You have to pay if you like to use it from your room! No so good for a status like this !

Ameritania Hotel: Great loacation and affordable

by miniexplorer

This hotel doesn't look that great from the outside and the inside hallways are dark, but the best part is that the rooms are decent, furnishings are modern-ish, and its clean. The bathroom however is a bit cramp. Overall, the service was good, the frontdesk was knowledgeable about the places we wanted to see and how to get there.

The best part about this place is 'location, location, location'. It's beside The Late Show with David Letterman, and a short walk to Time Square, restaurants, and the subway.

Holiday Inn: Girls' Weekend and Stuff We Did

by mizlara

Wonderful accommodations, inexpensive and close to public transportation. The staff? FANTASTIC! The rooms are small, which might make some people unhappy. But seriously, who stays in their room while in NYC? Well, even if you do like staying in, there's a good variety of TV channels. Everything is new and clean. I can't say enough about how easy it is to get around from that location, since it's around the corner from Broadway.

The best part is that the financial district is dead on the weekend, so you get a really good night's sleep. I'd stay there again without question.

Roosevelt Hotel, New York: Good deals on a great hotel in NYC

by Gav7blake

This is a great hotel that we have stayed in on 3 occassions now. The location is perfect if you are visiting NYC to shop, see the sights... 1 block from the heart of 5th avenue, a few blocks from times square and about the same to central park.

The style is very traditional New York, is full of charm and has great staff (they sent my wifes coat back to the UK for free after we left without it!)

Fantastic location and traditional NY style.

Top tip... expedia.co.uk (and maybe .com) do some very good deals on this hotel if you catch them at the right time. we always book this hotel with them and wait for the deals to come up (pay 3 nights, get 4th free, etc.) This is great because this hotel can be pretty expensive without the deals due to its popularity and location (the price rating below is based on the deal prices).

Hotel Azure: Soho or Chinatown

by Kleiop

Given the location of the hotel and the thought that rooms are relaitvely small in NYC, our hotel was ok. The room was very small, there where few times that there was no room for shopping bags! However it was very clean and very functional. The matress of the bed was the best after 12 hours of walking.

Belvedere Hotel Manhattan New York: great new york hotel

by kearkg

new york city, being an expensive place to say, this was one of the cheapest 4 star hotels we could find. It is in a good location central to everything in new york city. very close to all the tourist attrations.

the staff were very helpful, there is a concierge that can get you tickets to various sports games or broadway shows. the bell boys will call a taxi for you if you need it, this can be hard with nyc being so busy on the streets.

Rodeway Inn and Suites: New Paltz's WORSE hotel

by JessyJane

I HAVE TO FOREWARN ANYONE TRAVELING TO NEW PALTZ NY. DO NOT STAY AT THE RODEWAY INN AND SUITES - 601 MAIN STREET NEW PALTZ NEW YORK. I HAVE HAD ONE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THERE WITH A STAFF MEMBER (HOTEL DESK CLERK). SHE WAS ARROGANT, RUDE AND EVIL. SHE CURSED ME OUT AND FOLLOWED ME THRU THE HOTEL IN A VERY THREATENING MANNER WHILE WITH MY 10 YEAR OLD CHILD. ALL BECAUSE I ASKED FOR A PILLOW THAT OUR ROOM WAS LACKING. WE PAID 143.00 FOR THE OVERNIGHT STAY IN THE QUEEN SIZE SUITE (NOT) THAT SLEPT 6 BUT ONLY CAME WITH 4 PILLOWS. WE ARE A FAMILY OF 5 AND NEEDED ONE MORE PILLOW. FOR SOME REASON THIS MADE THE CLERK ANNOYED AT ME. CONTINUING TO CURSE ME OUT (CALLING ME WHITE TRASH M^&ER F^&*ER) MY 10 YEAR OLD WAS REDUCED TO TEARS AND DEATHLY AFFRAID OF THE UPCOMING NIGHTS STAY.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. THE ROOM WAS DIRTY AND LACKED ENOUGH TOWELS TO ADD TO THE PILLOW INCIDENT. I DARED NOT ASK FOR ANOTHER 2 TOWELS.

THERE IS NOTHING UNIQUE AT THE RODEWAY INN OTHER THAN THE ARROGANCE OF THE STAFF - WHICH YOU RARELY FIND IN THE HOTEL HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY.

Wingate by Wyndham at LaGuardia Airport: Bad hotel!

by Dymphna1

The location was really good. It was only 5 blocks from the end of the line in Queens for the subway. But it needs an over haul in a bad way. And good luck getting a clean room.

When I got there there was a newspaper and old key laying around in the room. There was an open bottle of shampoo in the tub area. Later I found the empty condom wrapper next to the bed.

The door jam to the bathroom did not work, as half of it was missing. The tile needs to be re grouted - there is water going down into the wall.

Staff was friendly. The restaurant is nice. (I don't understand how so many bars in NY can be without tap beer.)

Sheraton Time Square: Best Location in Time Square

by lilysuzlini

I have book this place online 5 months ago. Besides I have special request like needed extra pillows since travel with my hubby and two kids, infect we were happy to find our request were fulfilled. The only sad back is the room does not have wi-fi. Others being very good and satisfactory. They let us check out at 3pm even though the that time the hotel is full.....Thanks Giving Parade were held at Time Square

Location ..........
