Great place to stay

July 16, 2011 traveled to Ithaca for the weekend and stayed at the Hillside. Being close to Buttermilk Falls, Lakes, great restaurants, shopping, Cornell, etc., the Hillside Inn was the perfect place for lodging. Rooms were nice, not too fancy - But hey! who needs a big fancy expensive room when all you need is a quiet place to rest your body at the end of the day. I would recommend the Hillside Inn to all my friends, relatives, and acquaintances that are planning on visiting the Ithaca area. Go for it and enjoy!!! Need ideas of places to visit, eat, or just relax, ask the friendly front desk receptionist.

Unique Quality: Right across from Cornell, Close to gorges, lakes, fine restaurants,

They Kept Our Shampoo and Conditioner

A pretty and comfortable little inn situated right next to the campus (though the walk to campus is uphill) and right across the bridge from Collegetown. That's far better than how many of the students live. You'd think they'd charge you an arm and a leg, but the prices are surprisingly decent.

Unique Quality: The first time we stayed here, Hester left her shampoo and conditioner at the inn. When we arrived again (with a reservation from only two days prior) a month later, her shampoo and conditioner were set in the room for us.
