we stayed at this motel on 9/1/11 in room 16. That night we found bedbugs. We spoke to the owners and all they could say was do you want another room. We watched in horror as the cleaning girl changed the sheets and the room was reopenned after we left. We spent the rest of our vacation in a 4-5 star hotel. Sometimes cheaper is not always better. I would NOT recommend this motel!

VIEWS FROM THE HOTEL
I am planning a huge trip with my entire family and we will have at least 10 people and I have no idea where to book our hotels. I don't really know much about Lake George either but I have heard great things. This is planned for Labour Day weekend by the way...
Oh, that's a good question! I looked up your personal page and found that you've just joined VT. No harm in that, we all joined once. But you didn't give any other details of any kind and that makes things just a little difficult, because the VT database lists no fewer than 14 Lake Georges! Would you care to lower the level of anonymity just enough to tell us which country you live in, or which Lake George you mean? Then, possibly, someone may be able to assist you.
I agree, you have to provide enough information to tell us where you come from and which Lake George. If you are talking about Lake George in Northern New York USA, I would doubt you will have much luck as by now most everything will be booked I would think. Do you have tents ??
Lake George is the ultimate tourist town of upstate NY. Nestled in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains, the lake and surrounding towns are summer hangouts for people from all over New York State, and filled with fun things to do and great places to eat.
