Liverpool used to be noted for the weavers that produced fine blankets and scarfs. Now it is a suburb in nortwest part of Syracuse. Population is about 2500. There are two main highways (route 370 and route 57) in the town and most of the shops and restaurant and tourist attractions skirt along those roads.
