The Surf Lodge

First off if u think it has a pond and it is in beautiful Mountauk that it has to b good you are sadly mistaken. our room was in front of the garbage dumpster. our was equivalent to… to a travel lodge no joking or exaggeration or motel 6 with nice wall pictures. only plus was the internet was free which by the way it was in and out. They have morning room service and nothing else and a lousy breakfast included we woke up at 8am but did not get anything until close to 9 when the manager decided to serve us.I went to Venice the week b4 and the hotel was great [...] but the non surf lodge really made for a bad bad hotel. We never expected anything luxurious after all we are going to Mountauk but the website tells you another story then the reality of this dump. The room needs work. the worst part is we paid as if it was 5 star not cheap at all. loud, dirty, dated and simply a bad experience.
