    I'll take a suite over a tiny little room anytime! We hit a $99/night weekend special for a 1 bedroom suite, and grabbed it. This hotel is an art deco masterpiece of a building. The staff was personable and helpful. The suite was spacious and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay here.

    There's a gorgeous little restaurant/bar at the top with extraordinary views of the city. Off the lobby downstairs, the Zepher Cafe was a cute place for breakfast.

  • Directions: It's a little difficult getting to the entrance -- you have to go past it, driving uptown, turn right and come around the block to leave your car with the valet to be parked. (Valet parking was only $25 which is a pretty good deal in NYC).

    All the rooms have a small kitchen and accomodations are enough. There's a great staff as well as a great cafe with good food.
