Take in a Broadway show-- off Broadway is also great. Don't miss the Metropolitan Opera. Go to the Ballet. There are several good companies that perform at Lincoln Center. Visit the library at Lincoln Center for an unusual experience in finding scores.
In Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Academy of Music has wonderful productions that are worth seeing. Many actors like Diana Rigg prefer to work there because the shows run for a limited time.I really miss the shows, the opera, the ballet, the concerts. I was a member of the Lincoln Center Institute when I lived and worked in NYC. The photo shows Lincoln Center.
