Small and Friendly

This is a small European style hotel. You walk up a flight of stairs to the desk but there are young men who will carry your bags. We found the room clean and pleasant and the staff extremely cordial and helpful. I have indicated the price is about average, but remember this is NYC and there are no hotels that are both nice and cheap.

Unique Quality: The lovely lobby is a very warm place to sit for a glass of wine and a visit. (See the photo) It is also here that they serve muffins, donuts, juice and coffee for breakfast each morning. (The biggest most delicious donuts I have found and I am an expert.) It is also a very convenient location - easy walking distance to Times Square and many theaters.
