I'll answer my own question here.
The hotel was OK. Not perfect, but nothing to really complain about.
The restaurant was not. Had a few breakfasts there before I found the Gee Whiz Diner. There are lots of better places to eat in the area.
City Hall Restaurant across the street was fantastic.
I was doing some work in 60 Hudson Street, and this hotel is one block away. Perfect. Free internet of course.

The restaurant was very nice.
Food was the best I have tasted in NYC
Location perfect right across the road for Duane Street Hotel.
Service was perfect Bison Burger.
Oysters are a must. Especially if you havent tried oysters before. Different varieties from the area.
Anybody having experience with the Duane Street Hotel TriBeCa? Or any other hotel in the area?
I'll go there Tues-Fri.
It doesn't get the best reviews on tripadvisor. Have you already booked it?
Well, if it is the Tribeca Grand, it is a pretty nice property. Peobably not as it is on the Avenue of the Americas.

Robert de Niro's The Greenwich Hotel is the place to be in NYC. As you may know, he is a local in Tribeca. (Tribeca Films is his company)

If you mean The Duane Street Hotel in Tribeca, you likely cannot go wrong, as it is one of Conde Nast's "Top New Hotels in the World".
