I liked this hotel and would go back.

I went in January so the price was very reasonable. I stayed 3 nights. Thurs and Friday were only 99 dollars and Sat was 179 dollars. And these were fully refundable rates so non'refundable was slighly cheaper. The room had 2 double beds so perfect for us 4
It was a small room but about average size for NYC standards. The staff was friendly and they gave me a gift for being a priority club member. Wi'fi worked great in room and the lobby had a business center. Both elevators were working and and although we waited a little it was not really that bad and we were on the top floor...The 32nd I believe.
It was a tall and narrow building.....6 rooms per floor
The breakfast was very good and they kept it full at all times and GM was even helping by cleaning tables. My only recommendation would be maybee rotate bacon for sausage some days but really no complaints for this hotel.
I liked the fact that they had coffee in the lobby at all times. If you did not feel like making it in your room you could go get some there, put a lid on it and hit the streets.
The location was great. It is not in the heart of times square but like a 10 min walk to it but very doable. In fact we ordered NY PASSES and they had to be picked up at planet hollywood in times square and I walked there alone while my family was showering and back in 20 minutes.
When you check out they can hold your bags for the day and they give u a claim ticket so you can explore the city and leave on a later flight. I was happy they did this for everyone and for no charge.
1 block from port authority bus terminal subway staion where you can get the E train. Tuns more trains at times square.
There were a lot of restraunts right on 9th ave including pizza white castle and lots more.

I got cash back by going to ebates and clicking through there. I got like 30 dollars cash back to boot cant beat that. If you want to join ebates for cash back email me at micedp @ yahoo.com REMOVE SPACES. I will tell you how to book and get cash back. Also how to get enough priority club bonus points for 2 FREE nights as well. If you have other questions about the area and to join ebates just email me and put in the header HOLLIDAY INN NYC.

Times Square Hotel

If you don't mind the price, this hotel places you right near all the action in Times Square! As an established chain hotel, it is not one of those hole-in-the-wall hotels you find scattered throughout Manhattan.

The rooms have internet access, television, bathrooms, and air conditioning. They're also fairly spacious. The beds are really comfortable, too, which I always appreciate!
