Currently there is a lot of redevelopment going on nearby so expect after this is completed the area becomes more popular with people at night. For the moment it's a ghost town. (don't get me wrong... it's very safe.. just not partying)
Hotel has subway just around the corner on Fulton St or you can walk to City Hall.
Rooms are slightly more spacious and of decent quality. Hotel staff were very kind to allow me to store luggage before checking in the first afternoon. Close to Wall St, Brooklyn Bridge, and Battery Park.
The outside streets are deserted at night. Make no mistakes about this. If you want to go out at night on a weekend 'Don't Stay Here'. If you want a bargain good quality hotel where you can escape to at night on the weekend 'Stay Here'.
The hotel is located in an area surrounded by big business, very few residential places, and even less bars and restaurants.
