Minetta Lane
by bottleofdoom A very gracious host and very friendly. It is a small room, but just right for a few nights stay. The bed is big and comfy, there are two closets, one with a tv, a small refrigerator, coffee maker and a full bathroom. There is absolutely no view, but there are windows that can be opened for "fresh air". The ambience is very warm accentuated by the hardwood floors. Also, the host leaves fruit and bread for you to partake in as you wish. Much "homier" than a hotel.
The location is amazing! It's right in the heart of Greenwich Village and a minute's walk to a subway station. Bleeker St. is right around the corner, but it is somewhat of a hike to the East Village. Soho is very nearby as well. Record stores, amazing food, shopping and music is all within walking distance from this location. And at Halloween, the Village Parade goes right by it.
