The Plaza Hotel, located just south of Central Park, this grand dame has seen her share of millionaires and movie stars. Even if you're not willing to drop the big bucks for a night here, take a discreet stroll through the lobby and be sure to notice the beautiful restaurant where Audry Hepburn was filmed in 'Breakfast at Tiffany's.' The Oyster Bar at the Plaza is one of my favorite places in New York - small and cozy with dark oak paneling and the best cherrystone clams.
