Classy B&B In Chelsea District
We had a week in this excellent Bed & Breakfast, our room was extremely large including a 2 seater lounge , Chaise Lounge, Desk, TV etc , all being antique furniture. Our room #31 on the 3rd floor was called the Canopy Room due to the extremely large bed with canopy. Many B & B have nice rooms but where the Inn on 23rd excelled was with the additional services provided. The Library on the 2nd floor also served as the breakfast room, a hearty continental breakfast provided, fresh fruit , cereal, bagels, muffins, jams , tea , coffee etc plus the daily newspapers and countless guide books.
The Library was also the venue for the wine & cheese sundowner put on each week by our hosts, a nice way to meet fellow guests and discuss the day's activity. An "honour bar" is stocked with wine , beer and cool drinks for use by guests on other days. A refrigerator and microwave is provided for guests who would like to self cater. Two metro stations are within 200 metres of the premises and there are sops and delis along the road. Complimentary passes to many museums are available for guests. Cost of lodgings for 7 days was US $2,160.
