Cool Nautical Hotel
Service was excellent here. Even as a New Yorker, we rented the Penthouse for a Bridalshower and was given the best service. The staff is amazing and the place is clean and comfy. Location is great because it's right in Chelsea and extremely close to the Meatpacking distict.
Unique Quality: Rooms all have nautical theme, windows look like portholes and its overlooking Chelsea. Definitely have a meal at Matsuri, the dining location located downstairs. I had a great time there.

A unique night life experience
Located at the base of the Maritime Hotel, this club is a huge, vaulted, dual-level nightclub with a spectacular dance floor that is surrounded by cozy booths to one side and an amazing bungalow overlooking the dance floor on the other side. Its a stylish comfortable ambience with its wood ceiling and Asian rope-curtain motif.
Sunday nights is Hiro's gay party which attracts mostly a predominantly Chelsea crowd.
