A Terrible Experience
I had a terrible experience at the Phillips Club. I stayed here with my 2 children in January 2011 and had hostile service from the moment we checked in until the moment we left. The doorman refused to get me a taxi one evening and instead pointed outside and told me to get one myself. A porter refused to move my luggage until it was zipped to his satisfaction and then yelled at me when we got to the room and I didn't have my key. On yet another occasion in this 3 day period, the sofa bed was unmade and there were no sheets or pillows in the room I called to the front desk to have it made up. I was admonished for not having told them earlier that I need it made and had to go to the front desk and wait 30 mintues for someone to hand me sheets so that i could make it myself. The worst part of this experience is that when I called the manager he was perfectly nice and then did absolutley nothing about the incidents. I even posted a negative review on YELP which he had "filtered". An absolutely horrific establishment from start to finish.
