Another Grand Address with a View

The St Regis New York (at Central Park) offers as a luxury hotel similar services to the Sherry-Netherland.

Unique Quality: High speed internet access in all rooms, many or most of which overlook Central Park. . .valet service. . .concierge desk. . .three restaurants on the property. . .a jewelry shop. . .spa and fitness center. . .multilingual staff.

Luxurious enough

I stayed here for five days in August of 2003. We had a cozy room that was average sized for New York standards. We had a butler on our floor and delicious Leonides chocolates upon arrival. Good enough service but nothing that blew me away. I guess the fact that everytime we went out we could smell all the horse dung in Central Park sort of turned me off. Location wise it is good enough but not the best.

  • Opinion of Price: more expensive than average
